Interviewing now · One city at a time
Introductions,
not impressions.
A matchmaking service, not a dating app. Everyone here was interviewed, verified, and chose to show up. You will never browse a grid of strangers.
Membership is capped by city. Applications are read, not queued.
How it works
Everything a good human matchmaker does, done properly and at a pace a person can actually keep up with. Three steps, then a rhythm.
-
01
The interview
Forty minutes with a matchmaker that asks follow-up questions. Values, life stage, how you handle conflict, what you will not compromise on. You do not write a profile — we draft it, you approve it.
-
02
The vetting
Government ID and a liveness check, so the person on the date is the person in the profile. Stated intent has to line up across your answers before an account activates.
-
03
The weekly drop
Thursday at six. One to three matches, never more, each with a written explanation of why the two of you were paired. Three days to decide.
The weekly drop
This is the whole product. Not a feed, not a queue, not a count of people who liked you — a short, finite list of people someone actually thought about, and the reasoning behind each one.
You can accept, pass, or ask one clarifying question. Passing asks you for a reason, because that is how the matching gets better.
Thursday · 6:00 PM · Match 1 of 2
You both said you want someone who will argue with you. Her last relationship ended over silence — yours did too.
Open until Sunday, 6:00 PM
Principles
What we do
- Interview every member before they join.
- Verify identity with ID and a liveness check.
- Explain, in writing, why we paired you.
- Let you pause without losing your place.
- Celebrate the people who leave together.
What we never do
- Show you a grid of faces to swipe through.
- Charge you to be seen, boosted, or unblurred.
- Count your likes, streaks, or unread messages.
- Make money from how long you stay.
- Manufacture urgency you did not ask for.
The business only works if people leave. Membership is a flat fee, priced against a human matchmaker rather than against a free app.
Fewer. Better. Explained.
We open a city only when there are enough interviewed members to make the weekly drop worth opening. Tell us about yourself and we will tell you where things stand.
